GREIP’s automated drip systems use local weather forecasts and soil sensors to apply water only when and where it is needed. We explore the implementation of 'Subsurface Drip Irrigation' which eliminates evaporation loss and delivers water directly to the root zone, increasing water-use efficiency by up to 90% in arid climates.
